Those incarcerated in TN have long lacked access to hygiene supplies and necessities essential to basic health and human dignity and the need for these resources has only been underscored by this global pandemic.

Those currently incarcerated in TN jails and prisons are at a higher risk for severe illness and death from COVID-19, especially the elderly and immunocompromised, including survivors of domestic and sexual violence who often live with medical conditions exacerbated by and immune systems weakened by trauma.
